ZIA: Italian for Auntie. A term of affection shared among Lynn Manock's dog-loving girlfriends.
BIRD: 1950's era American slang for a girl or woman and Lynn's mother's nickname.
Ziabird: The airy, welcoming shop, where the creativity of female artists and designers across the country is celebrated.
Ziabird is the culmination of my years in creative careers. Beginning as a jeweler and gypsy on the road selling my work, to studying accessory design at the London College of Fashion to working as a film costumer, all combined to bring me to the perfect position as owner of Ziabird or the purveyor of individuality, as I like to call it.
The best part of my job is helping a client find the perfect pieces to set her apart from the crowd. I also love that Ziabird is a platform for new and small label designers to launch their lines to a fresh and appreciative audience.
We are all about dressing individuals and helping each client look her best and feel great when she wears a Ziabird piece. Come by and say hello!
