Macon Thornton’s interest in jewelry design began nine years ago after purchasing a beautiful strand of turquoise beads in Montana. Though her work continues to evolve, her vision remains the same, to create organic elegance. Working mainly with gemstones, freshwater pearls, and sterling silver, her designs combine classic materials with a fresh and natural twist in style. Macon’s influence is derived from color and texture, especially those found in our nature world.
Melissa specialises in hand-crafted, recycled gold jewelry that is molded around conflict free diamonds and semi-precious gemstones. Her collection spans from rustic hammered gold wedding bands to intricate pear shaped diamond engagement rings.
Debra Pyeatt is a Wilmington, NC bead artist who has been working at her craft since 1993. Deb finds inspiration living near the ocean and often uses seashells she has collected over the years. The majority of her work is made of glass or crystal, with the occasional use of metal, resin, stone and vintage beads. Deb’s award winning work has been published in beading books and magazines.
Designed by artist Claire Jacobs, Emily Claire jewelry is known for elegant design, with an edgy flare. Drawing inspiration from historical jewelry as well as modern design, every piece of jewelry starts with a hand sketch by Claire. From there, the jewelry is carefully hand fabricated in her Raleigh, NC studio using sterling silver, 18K gold, and semi-precious or precious stones.
Beth Zink a self-taught jewelry designer, based in Southport, NC, creates jewelry with an elegant but updated classic style. With no formal training in jewelry design when she started her business in 2001, her love of pearls and gemstones has led her to create updated classic styles of jewelry. Each piece of jewelry is created for the woman who is confident, accomplished and elegant. She encourages her clients to wear the one of a kind or limited edition pieces every day for enjoyment because every day is special.
Since her childhood in Iowa, Kenda's unique collection flourished from the inspiration of found objects, crafting them into something new. A true artisan, she cultivated her design skills at East Carolina University with a concentration in metal design. Upon graduating, Kenda launched a small signature collection. The line evolved into today's brand: Kenda Kist Jewelry.
Tracy Mallon is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York City and has worked for many different designers including DKNY, Banana Republic and Kate Spade.
Tracy’s twelve year career has included clothing, handbags, accessories and now jewelry. She has launched this line with the inspiration of the subtlety of natural tonal colors. The materials used in this collection are mainly precious metal and semi-precious stones.
